# The Exchange

The BAWSAQ tower, its plaza, the ticker, the Most Wanted board, and Exchange Row's four towers.

East along the main road the buildings turn to glass. This is the financial district. The **BAWSAQ tower** stands on a stone podium with a ticker running round all four sides, the contract plaque over the doors, and the neon **BAWSAQ** on every face. Above the shaft, the crown lights the skyline at dusk.

## Exchange Row

Across the road, four towers stand in a line, each with its own lore board on the pavement:

* **Liberty City National Exchange**, the rival board, in cool blue. The safe, boring exchange for people in suits.
* **Maze Bank Tower**, the tallest thing in the city, carrying the **Most Wanted board** and a ticker.
* **Lombank**, the second finance tower, with its lit boardroom near the top. What the exchange does with the T2 it earns is decided up there, under Board Sit.
* **Pacific Standard Public Deposit Bank**, the **Burn Vault**. Its board counts the BAWSAQ that has been sent to the dead address, live.

## Around the plaza

The back plaza east of the tower has the Exchange Gardens, a second fountain, benches, and the taller company towers: Ammu-Nation, Maibatsu, Redwood, Zaibatsu. The Maze Bank hall on the south side of the plaza is separate from the tower on the Row.

{% hint style="info" %}
Every board in this district is live. Prices come from the Pons curves on Robinhood Chain every 30 seconds, the burn counter reads the dead address, and the Most Wanted board updates after every knockout.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.bawsaq.org/the-city/the-exchange.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
