# Las Venturas
The entrance plaza and the welcome sign
South of the crossroads, past the glass information pavilion, a palm promenade leads to a fountain and the **Welcome to Fabulous Las Venturas** sign. Beyond it the strip: casinos in neon, the Camel's Toe pyramid over a floodlit sphinx, and the chapter-four lore boards, including the one titled Breaking the Bank.
The fountain is standing room round the edge and water in the middle. You cannot walk into the basin.
